"I was trained in Industrial Design of Mechanical Systems and I began a new professional life in ERAS at the end of 2000. I was welcome in the Marseille office by a dynamic and friendly team that quickly helped me integrate my designer’s position. The various projects in which I participated provided me with new knowledge in pipework and General Installation.
At the time, the movement of the Company towards the use of CAD tools gave me an opportunity to train myself on some of this software. However, traditional design methods have not been completely abandoned. At the moment we use a wide range of manual and computer processes to satisfy our customers’ wishes. My previous professional experience is a big advantage because I have skills in the design of mechanical systems and machining methods and also several years experience in welding, structural steel work and boiler work.
Contact with customers, work on sites, the variety of work and my close involvement all contributed to the progress I made towards the position of Chief Designer of the IG Group. I appreciated being able to work independently in my job. My ambition is to continue to make progress at ERAS that remains a "human sized" Company."
