"Cooperation with ERAS goes back to their very early stages, more than 15 years ago, initially in the instrumentation and electricity businesses. In 1996, we hired them to carry out general installation design work.

The first multi-disciplinary study was assigned to ERAS at the end of 2003. The "New Latex line" project consisted of setting up a latex production line in an existing plant, which was already very dense. A 12 million Euros investment, very strict space and calendar constraints required the definition of about 11000 h to be done in 6 months.

This comprehensive design project required the installation and connection of pipes for 20 reservoirs and reaction vessels, 30 pumps and 300 lines. The instrumentation part involved 700 I/O, 30 motors, lighting and electrical tracing.

ERAS built up a dynamic and competent team in Tavaux, with very experienced people called in from their different offices. They assisted us in other phases of the project, particularly during basic design and site supervision, SNCC development, tests and production startup.
